Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 59659
CTL "Type and Replace" swap Thai characters unexpectedly in different situations
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:42:26 UTC
When CTL "Type and Replace" is on, it'll trigger at least the following reported bugs :- - issue 59270 - Autocorrect completion of month/weekdays broken for CTL but non-bidi - issue 59630 - Thai characters in text frame swap when load - issue 59633 - Thai characters swapped when using change tracking I also see the 'Thai characters swapped' problem in other situations but can't 100% reproduce them yet. Turn the feature off, those bugs will gone. You can try turn the feature on and off to activate/deactivate the bugs. "Type and Replace" is definitely broken in some way.
Reassigned to SBA.

SBA: Set keyword "regression". Target set to OOo 2.0.2. Reassigned to OS. SBA->OS: To me it looks strongly that the three problems have the very same root cause, so they can only be fixed in "one go" anyway. When verifying the fix, all three variations (issue 59270, issue 59360, issue 59633) must be looked after. I will close the other issues as duplicates of this one.
