Description mikecrist 2006-01-05 16:22:01 UTC
If a powerpoint presentation is created with a bulleted list in a text box,
saving the presentation as an SXI creates the list with text:style-name="".
When the SXI is reopened, the textbox and text contained in the box does not
appear. This behavior occurs in version 2.0 and 2.0.1, tested on Linux and
Windows 2000.

Steps to recreate (if powerpoint is available):
Powerpoint -
Create a blank presentation
Create a text box
In text box, click on the Bullets icon and enter some text
Save the presentation
Impress -
Open the saved presentation
Save the presentation as type SXI
Close the presentation
Open the SXI presentation

Reproducible - Always

Impress does not save any text boxes correctly in SXI format. Textboxes are
preserved in ODP format, but do not appear or appear empty in SXI format. If a
text frame is created in an ODP, its contents are preserved in the SXI. This
may be because the PPT translated ODP has the text inside a <draw:custom-shape>
instead of <draw:text-box>.

I can reproduce the bug with the empty Textboxes but I can't reproduce the bug
with the text style.
Please tell me how I can reproduce the bug with the text style.

Please have a look about the vanishing text.
Comment 7 clippka 2006-01-17 10:56:07 UTC
Sven, please have a look at this custom shape issue. I set the target to OOO
2.0.2 for now until we know what the problem is. If it is a severe problem we
should fix it for OOo 2.0.2
Comment 8 sven.jacobi 2006-01-17 16:02:32 UTC
sj: This issue has been fixed in cws[sj31] and is already integrated in src680
m146, so the bugfix will be available in OOo2.02.
