Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 60185
WW8: rectangles with text imported as filled area
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:03 UTC
When OOo Writer (Openoffice 2.0.1 or earlier) is used to open the attached file (File ->Open etc), the embedded graphics are not imported correctly. Many of the "blocks" are filled in, in black (where they should in some cases contain text and/or be transparent/white in fill colour) and the text in the graphic object is illegible. The document displays correctly in MS Word 2002 (10.6764.6735) SP3. Sample document was attached to issue 2288; however I am concerned that because issue 2288 was given a low priority, and the OS was Windows 98, that it is not receiving the level of attention which it needs: OOo Writer 1.x.x, 2.0 and 2.0.1 have all been found to be unworkable with this issue, until it is rectified.

confiremd on Windows XP Pro SP2 with OOo 2.0.1
MRU->SJ: the graphics consist of a flowchart-like structure; the rectangles are imported as filled area where they should display only a rectangular border containing text.
sj: this issue has been solved by fixing issue 57205. The bugfix will be available in OOo2.02 *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 57205 ***
