You are using the version provided by Fedora. Can you reproduce it with a
version distributed by openoffice.org? If no, please refer to Fedora for this issue.

fc4?, but there's a /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/immodules/im-scim.so in the stack trace,
and that comes from package "scim-libs" which wasn't released by redhat for fc4,
only for fc5.

Either way, your problem isn't with OpenOffice.org, but with scim-libs, 
either with that package directly or with the toolchain that it was built with.
