Description lars.nooden 2006-02-06 14:25:11 UTC
Remove or provide a way to disable easter eggs in release versions of open
office. org.
Comment 1 lars.nooden 2006-02-06 14:28:10 UTC
PS. Just saying to remove the offending bits from the source code and recompile
it, is not an appropriate solution.
Comment 2 pavel 2006-02-06 14:32:46 UTC
I just wanted to some developer that he should "remove the offending bits from
the source code and recompile it".

But as you said, it is not an appropriate solution, I'll close this issue.

We can't fix this.

Closing.

This is important in the schools market. Being cool for developers is one
thing, getting schools to put something on their networks that invites
disruptive classes is quite another.

Come on, you can install extensions via macros etc.

So in general, your argument is invalid because malicious poupils can program
their own games.

BTW: It's not a defect! OOo works as designed. Maybe that you don't like but
that doesn't make it a defect.
