Create a Draw Doc, place some guidelines (the ones you create dragging the mouse
from the rulers) in the page, do any other editing, save and close the doc.
When you reopen it the guidelines are not visible: to see them again you have to
activate the rulers (an action which is unfortunately doable ONLY from the menu,
no hotkeys or buttons possible, see issue 52498), click once on them, and voila,
you see the guidelines you had created.
This must be repeated every time you reopen the doc.
Or maybe this behaviour is intentional?
I will not attach a doc since I find this behaviour in ANY draw doc. If anybody
wants a doc, please let me know.

No problem using guidelines with OOB680_m1 (OOo 2.02 RC1).

Then the problem should be newly solved: I am using 2.0.1 and it is there. I am
not on 2.0.2 rc since no italian translation of it seems to be available. When
it will be I will report on this.

No problem with OOo 2.02 RC3 and WinXP SP2.
Guidelines are always visible, after editing, saving closing and reopening the 
document. I tried it several times.

Unfortunately I am still experiencing the problem with 202 rc3 (Xp SP1), and I
have tried it on two different machines, with different graphic cards (one Intel
integrated, the other Ati 9550). I am attaching a file example. I hope I am
clear in what I  mean: I open the doc I will upload in a moment, and DO NOT SEE
the guidelines. To see them I have to switch the rulers on and click on them once.
If everybody else opens this file and instead SEES GUIDELINES IMMEDIATELY, woth
no need for any other operation, then of course it's my problem and I will live
with it. Thanks

Opening the doc from scagni the guidelines are visible, without doing something.

This thing is really amazing... next monday I will try the same file on 2 other
PCs at works to see if  the problem is still there. I will let you know, thanks
