Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 62297
PPT Export: language of Date Format in HeaderFooter not saved
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:55:34 UTC
1. start impress; 2. Insert Date and Time... open "Header and Footer" dialog; 3. in Date and time select Variable, change the Format as "2006年2月20 日",change the language as Chinese(simplied), Apply to all; 4. Save it as .ppt file; 5. open the file with Microsoft PowerPoint, the lanugage changed to English.
confirmed with OOo 2.0.2 RC1 on WinXP Pro SP2
Reassigned.
I can reproduce the bug. When we save it in the PPT - format the language is wrong. When we save it in our own Format the language is correct but the date format is wrong.
For what I am concerned, it is all the texts which are changed in English (UK) when exported to MS-PowerPoint. I'm using OOo2.0.4 in French. 1 Create a presentation with Impress, with all the text in French (I also tried with some part in German) 2 Save it as .PPT file 3 Open with MS-PowerPoint (or OOo Impress), all the text are in English
Hello, Export to PPT saves language settings in OOo 3.1.0. Date format is correctly saved for French language.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
