Daniel, Have you signed a JCA or CA and faxed it in? I would like to post these docs to How To area, but I needed to know about this first. Thanks
I have put together two documents that maybe of interest: 1. A largish document aimed at intermediate to advanced users of m$ office converting to OOo. As it contains material posted by Jean Weber to issue 15982, I have mentioned it there. I also, inadvertently posted it to issue 16407. 2. A summarised version of the above document specifically for people that are using m$ office but wish to work with people using OOo. I needed this document as I have set-up a person to work with OOo but their secretary remains using m$ Office. The latest versions of both documents are available from: http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/hillview/OOo/ Cheers, Ian Laurenson
planning to take a look at the differeny migration docs out there and shake the dust off this one :)
suggestions from dev@documentation. copying here for organizational purposes. Check on the Migration Guide, which is listed on this page: http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/index.html direct link: http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/0600MG-MigrationGuide.pdf on http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/index.html at bottom of page are links to the individual chapters
This issue seems obsolete now. Please evaluate.
This issue has been superceded by the Migration Guide for OOo 2.0 (which incorporated the info in the doc mentioned by Ian Laurenson below). In effect, the task has been completed, just not using the files attached to this issue. This issue should be closed.
