Issue created to collect results of QA for 2.0.2 on Mac OS X PowerPC. FYI, following issues are not stoppers (only bugs): - savMS95 : issue #i59920# created - file_tmp02 : #i59233# ? I ask to every QA responsive to VERIFY the corresponding locale is downloadable. If not => file an issue and assign it to st with me (ericb) on CC. Please complete :-)
There is a problem with printing as reported by Pavel Janik with the original rc4 code. This is a showstopper and is under another Issue. Do not report problems with this. A proposed fix is out and may require another rc#. erib: Please assign this Issue to me. James
62068 is closed and should be incorporated in the latest OOB680_m5 codebase. Builders please update to this code. James

ericb->jjmckenzie I'll ask for testers on mac@porting mailing list and let you manage the QA. From my side, I'll do a QA for Mac Intel version. (I already have a good idea of the results ) Last, QA responsive will have to verify if the locale they have verified is really downloadable after they are declared OK, and enter en issue in case of problem. ericb-> dominique_mores Thank you very much ! With your help, we solved both 63030 and 62551, and the last problem we had with macosxfondu :-)
Due to issues 62551 and 63030 this release is not ready for the Mac. I will test the three cases that failed and confirm for en_US. Looks like send as mail is partially working (works with Mail but not with Thunderbird which is a known issue due to the method that is used to call the mail program.) James
The Wizards problem exists across all languages. This issue is confirmed in en_US and ja. This is because the templates directory does not exist in the user's preferences and data area ~/Library/Application Support/OpenOffice.org 2.0/user/templates This is addressed in issues 62551 and 63030. Without the fixes, this release candidate is not ready for customer usage. James

All: Not that I am an Anglophile, but could you please place comments in English along with your native tongue. I do not, for specific reasons, trust Bablefish to come up with the correct translation. Also, we know about the broken Wizards. Please do NOT test them until a fix is announced and tested. Update: IZ 63030 was opened to address the missing empty directories and a patch is under test. MacOSX was not the only OS to be affected by this problem. James
Good news on the Wizards problem. The patch solution provided in IZ 63030 does fix this problem. However, the patch is incomplete and will take some more work. This issue should be resolved soon and I expect a new release candidate within a week or so. Thank you, the Mac OS X testing team, for your patience while we worked out this problem. James
Maho is conducting a full build with the patch proposed in IZ 63030. If these builds are released into the OpenOffice.org mirror system, this issue will be considered resolved as the Wizards do work as designed. James
Please QA releases at good-day.net built on 20060406 as the 'missing' directory issue that caused the Wizards to fail and for the /null directory are incorporated into this build. Please post smoketest results here and any failures EXCEPT the Java Clock display and send as an attachment to this issue. Thank you everyone for your patience. James M.

Only the English_US has been QA'd and passed. What about the other languages that were tested with the template problem? (fr, de and ja at the least?) James
Closing issue. OpenOffice 2.0.3 is due out soon. Only the en_US version was fully QA'd after fixes for Wizards issue. James M.
