Calc needs less than a second to paste eg. the number 6 into one column starting 
from one cell on a 900 MHz PC. But Calc needs more than 15 minutes to paste into 
all cells of a spreadsheet but a sheet consists of only 256 columns, so Calc 
should take only 256*less than a second to paste into all cells. So there 
probably is some kind of defect.

Confirmed with OOo 2.0.2RC3, WinXP.

Same result on a more modern machine (3.2GHz P4). Near instantaneous for pasting
value (="1") into a single column. Pasting value into an entire sheet takes a
*long* time- in fact so long, I had to force an exit to close OOo.

Shouldn't this one be set to P2? Because it cause OOo crash in OOo3.0

Feel free to set it back to P4 if it doesn't worth it.

Confirmed in OOo 2.4.1, WinXP

I had to force quit OOo. This consumes virtual memory.

I have the same problem, but when copy/paste several times, not the first.
