Description ravendark 2006-03-08 21:44:56 UTC
I opened a PowerPoint presentation with Impress. Opening was successful. The
problem occured when I tried to view the presentation in slide show mode. Then,
Impress started showing the first slide very slowly (on an AMD athlon64 3400+)
and when I clicked to continue on the second slide, I got a blue screen.
The problem is reproducible.

@ ravendark: Sorry, not reproducible. The presentation opens and runs without
problems WinXP SP2, Office version m158 and m5. All slides appearing after al
least one second. Which graphic card do you use? Are the latest drivers
installed? Thanks.
Reassigned. Please check on your system.

I can't reproduce the bug.
It sounds like a known issue.
Please tell me which graphic card do you use.
Comment 5 ravendark 2006-03-09 16:49:21 UTC
My system is a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1650 laptop with ATi Radeon Mobility
Xpress 200 graphics card.
I downloaded and installed the latest ATi drivers but the problem remains.
The weird thing is that on linux (slackware 10.2 with ATi proprietary drivers
8.21.7 installed on this laptop) there is no problem.
I hope this helps.
