Description bmarcelly 2006-03-21 10:07:17 UTC
In the IDE dialog Properties panel, controls CommandButton, Checkbox, OptionButton,
Label, show a property called "Word break".
This property is introduced by OOo 2.0, and corresponds to:
 control.Model.Multiline

The chosen term is incorrect, because in fact the property is used to split the label
of the control into several lines if it is too long to fit in the control width. The
effect is similar to the Multiline property used in the TextField control.
The term "Word break" means in fact caesura, or hyphenation.

A better term would be "Multiline label".

still open, needs to be Fixed.

I think the proposal to change word break to multiline is a consequent proposal.

Why have you changed back the OS? It belongs to all platforms. My screenshot was taken under Ubuntu 64bit.
