Objects in themes made in sgxxx.sdg, sgxxx.sdv and sgxxx.thm take about 3
seconds before it's moved to layout (drawing document). Early version of
openoffice; it was never a problem ( took less than a second) . First in
openoffice 2.0.2. 

If object in theme just have a path to the graphic object then there are no
problems.

But if you make a theme by moving graphich object from "drawing document layout"
to theme field. Which then create those 3 files: sgxxx.sdg, sgxxx.sdv and
sgxxx.thm. Then when you want to use those graphic objects from theme it's very
slow to get into document.

I'm running openoffice in windows environment on a 800Mhz Pentium III laptop.
With openoffice 2.0.1 I don't have this problem.

Sorry, not reproducible.  I hope I understood you correctly: you setup an own
theme in the gallery, insert some objects there and try to drag them back into
drawing view, what takes too much time, right?
The same mechanism was used in OOo2.0.1. Are these objects very complex? Thanks.

Thanks for sending the files. Indeed this has gotten slower, on a 700Mhz Linux
machine the file need more than one second to be inserted. In 2.0 final this was
faster.
