Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 63832
non-translatable parts in hyperlink tips
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:43:03 UTC
When TOC entry is formatted as link to paragraph, the tip for a link looks something like #1.something|outline. Here 'something' is the text of link, 'outline' is the type. 'Outline' is not translatable (searched thru strings). The same happens, when create hyperlink into document, referencing to document section, then after text '|region' is displayed, when picture is referenced, then '|graphic', etc. I added a screenshot with TOC entry tip.

Created attachment 35399 [details] screenshot with link to picture
Created attachment 35400 [details] screenshot with link to table
These strings are hardcoded in sw/source/core/bastyp/init.cxx
Reassigned to ES.
I don't think we need to translate those strings because they are only targets, internal flags for the program and therefore are not really giving valuable information anyway. Asking Requirements
Then make them invisible. Calc links do not have such appendixes. When these words are not translatable, they will not give so or so any information to non-english users.

Matthias, can you please look at this issue and reassign as appropriate? Thx!
Oliver, please take over.
Oliver, can you please have a look and tell us whether we can fix that for 3.0 or not. If it was possible I really would like to do it even if it's only a P4. If we don't fix it now though it would be easy (is it?) we perhaps will do it never.
Fixed in cws os113 in sw/source/ui/docvw/edtwin2.cxx
Reassigned for verification
Verified fix in CWS os113.
Checked in build DEV300m22.
