Description eric.bachard 2006-04-09 18:08:25 UTC
OS : Mac OS X / 2.0.2 and superior

Process :  Tools -> Options -> Display ->Icon Size and Style :
Crystal is not in the list for other locales than en-US and german.

Verified on Mac OS X, Windows.

So we cannot use Crystal icons because " Crystal " is not translated for other locales than en-US and
german into svx/source/dialog/localize.sdf .

If this can help, french word is " Crystal "

Of course, en-US and german only are provided into svx/source/dialog/optgdlg.src, and Crystal can be
selected for these locales

Is there a scheduled date for this change ? Thank's in advance for the answer ...

set target for 2.0.4

String Crystal is a normal string that has to be translated via classic
translation process.

svx source\dialog\optgdlg.src 0 stringlist
OFA_TP_VIEW.LB_ICONSTYLE5 0 en-US Crystal

Since 'Crystal' is the actual name of the icon set, I assume it would be the
same in all languages? The same for 'Industrial'. However, the 'Default' theme
would probably require translation.

Andrew

How long does need the "classic translation process" ? Is there any chance to see "Crystal" translated for
2.0.3 ?
Comment 5 pavel 2006-04-18 06:38:28 UTC
The deadline is Thu, Apr 20 and then, some time is needed to get it integrated.

I'll make it a stopper if e.g. French "Crystal" is not there ;-)

wait wait wait , you can not select crystal in a list box, because it is not
translated ??? Why there is not the English string displayed ? If it is a name,
why is it translatedable at all ? This is no translation bug !
Comment 7 avagula 2006-04-18 14:16:12 UTC
It is translatable, because icon themes can have localized names (or at least written in different alphabet).
Comment 8 ivo.hinkelmann 2006-04-18 14:26:35 UTC
ok , why there is not the English string displayed ?
Comment 9 ivo.hinkelmann 2006-04-18 18:09:56 UTC
ok, the changed string list is integrated into m157 in 2006 / 02 / 09 . Enough
time for everyone to translate

Hi Ivo,
So are you saying that this will be fixed (might even be already) in the pp3
translation cycle?
Can you give me a keyID so i can check this issue?
Thanks,
Ian
Comment 11 ivo.hinkelmann 2006-05-11 15:50:48 UTC
they are not all translated -> showstopper ! I will fix this one on OOC680
Comment 12 ivo.hinkelmann 2006-05-12 16:53:40 UTC
fixed in cws localisation08
Comment 13 ivo.hinkelmann 2006-05-12 17:07:28 UTC
ericb, please verify in file svx/source/dialog/optgdlg.src
Comment 14 eric.bachard 2006-05-13 10:06:53 UTC
ericb->ihi

Without verify in sources, I have tested m168 for fr and it locales. (not built m169 yet, sorry)

fr : works "Crystal" is proposed in the list, and works fine : changes for Crystal/reverse are ok, and
repeatable.

it (m168): Crystal is not proposed in the list.

I think it works, but not for all locales for m168. I'll build m169, but maybe only tomorrow or monday.

Other point : in localisation08 cws, Crystal does appear 3 times in svx/source/dialog/optdlg.src,but
I 'm not sure how verify your changes.

Doing a diff between revisions 1.20 and 1.23 of optdlg.src files gives me a long list of changes, with
Crystal added. Is this correct ?

Doing other diff's, what I've understood is :

- uncomment Crystal have been made between 1.20 and 1.21
- complete fix between 1.21 and 1.22

Last, but not least : thank you very much for your work :-)

Please take a look on revision 1.30.4.1 of svx/source/dialog/localize.sdf
if you see all "Crystals" set this issue to verified!
