Description lars 2002-07-23 13:02:35 UTC
I have 2 OOo website IE browser windows open. One contains a list of issues
after a query for example of all issues in API component.
The second window now contains an issue I'm adding a comment to. After hitting
submit and the "success" page is displayed, below that message is
displayed "next issue on your list", but this issue is an issue from the list
of issues in the first webbrowser windwow; from the API issues in this example.
I think it should be from "My Issues" or nothing at all (or the text should
changed).

Lars,
let me explain a little.
IssueZilla is a component of Source Cast, a proprietary product owned
and distributed by CollabNet, a privately held company in the US. Sun
pays a lot to use SC, and has approved of the current feature set and
functionality. Any enhancement to any feature of SC has to go thru a
fairly tedious process in CN before it is accepted, if ever.
In particular, enhancements to IZ take the longest, for IZ is rather
tricky and is soon to be replaced by something better (soon=6 months).

Thus, you may suggest things but they are probably not going to go
anywhere, even if I take your suggestions to CN for review. The only
way they will be accepted is if many of CN's clients request something
similar.

Hope this clarifies the situation.

Ok

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.

My experience:

After pressing "Submit", sometimes you are displayed not the
current issue, but actually the next issue.

Thanks.
