Description uk_sharpless 2006-05-28 10:39:54 UTC
Thank you for the enhancements, such as even better integration re. multiple
users, still more dynamism...

HOWEVER, you have scrapped *too many things we had come to rely on*, also have
not included things we've been begging for - and that are obviously desirable!!
Also, existing functions DON'T WORK...!

I see still more people saying that *they are happier with MS Word than with
S.O.*, and begin to understand their point of view!
I think the trouble is lack of certain short-cuts that are in Word. First of
all, there is changing lettering to {being STORED as} is SHIFT+F3, you know,
cyclic. Well, you have not implemented such -- nor can I find such a command to
which to assign a key! I have done it with Macros; very much hope you have
sorted out Basic, now, with S.O.-8!
For one thing, when I said the Style Catalogue needed attention, I did NOT
intend you to scrap it altogether, and did not think you would do!

Now, remember Sun's slogan re. avoiding buyer's remorse...!! Well, I am very
diappointed and regret spending the money, despite the good additions...!!

That person who called you or Sun “Retards†was cruel. However, I, too, find you
have not been putting your minds to it as well as we need you to do, or perhaps
testing is insufficient! Either way, we need more attention to our needs -- and
truyl attracting more people from MS's...!

No idea what problem we are talking about, it seems that the reporter talks
about several different problems he has with OOo (or SO).

@uk_sharpless
Can you pls. read our Guidelines on
<http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html> and then try again
to write Bug Reports again?
Especially you should mention "One problem - one issue", "Provide a meaningful
summary", "Provide step-by-step descriptions"!
