Description werebones 2006-06-17 15:47:37 UTC
I tried to open a .ppt - file in OOo 2.0.2, worked fine.
Then I made a small edit, and then saved the file in .ppt again, and most of the
content was gone.
I was able to reproduce this error with the latest development snapshot of OOo.

I've put a zip-archive containing both original .ppt and the saved, almost-empty
.ppt in http://gladeguard.org/damage.zip

I see the problem with this file on OOo203rc5de on WinXP too.

If you first open and save (without any changing) the file in OOo1.1.5, then it
can be saved without error in OOo2.0.3rc5 too.

Sorry, I wonder which PowerPoint version do you use to create the document
Comment 7 christian.guenther 2006-06-27 11:55:44 UTC

Comment 8 christian.guenther 2006-06-30 14:36:17 UTC
I can see the bug in the attached document but I can't reproduce the bug.
Unfortunately I don't know which PPT-version was used to create or to work with
the document.
Please have a look.

to werebones:
Please answer the question, using which powerpoint version that documents
created ? 2003, XP or 2000 ?
So the developer can investigate it better.
Thanks
