Description ooo 2006-06-19 16:21:57 UTC
When producing double underlines with
underline {underline 123}
the results differ:
- sometimes it will be a single thick line,
- sometimes a double line too close to the underlined number,
- but sometimes the result is fine as expected.
This is the case
- on the screen (here dependig on the zoom)
- when printing (HP550C, also confirmed with other printers, e.g. Laserprinter
600dpi)
- when exporting to pdf.
One user reported better results using different fonts, e.g. Andale Sans.
One user got better results by saving the formulae as maths-documents and
linking them into the writer-document.
But these workarounds should not be necessary.

MRU->TL: I don't know if this is more yours or HDU's. Please have a look, there
you can see that the double underline is shown as one thick line in certain
cases. This also varies sometimes when you change the zoom factor (more cases
wrong when 100% zoom).

Still defect in OOo 2.1 - any hope for a fix?
One user reported that sometimes it looks alright with
underline {underline 123}
but
underline {underline x^2}
still coagulates the underlines - due to the exponent?
