Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 6736
Mall all(!) objects visible in Navigator
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:33:59 UTC
all objects (comment boxes for example) should appear in Navigator. that must be easy ?!? As OOo sourcecode was started "from sratch" in C++ in an object-orientated way -- isn't something similar written on Suns website?
see issue 6741 "navigator as object browser"
Hi Falko, one4you
All elements/objects (charts, tables, images, text boxes, paragraphs) used in a document should show up in Navigator and the context menu of these objects should be accessible from Navigator so that I can use Navigator to change all object properties easily a dcomfortable without scrolling the document.
all related issues to get an idea of the scope of my imagination of Navigator: issue 6741, issue 7085, issue 7047, issue 7049)
and this includes not referencing Math formulas as "OLE objects" ... !
and only show those categories for which there exist objects in the document!!! (Writers standard Navigator is overloaded)
The Navigator should display all objects that are contained in a document. This must include Drawings, boxes etc. Note: This issue might be dupolicate, but I cannot find any suitable one to do so.
.
Summary: The Navigator should display all objects that are contained in a document. This must include Drawings, boxes etc.. That would simplify the usage of the navigator. And it has to be considered for all the different Navigators in the apps.
To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements".
