Description kpalagin 2006-07-19 08:06:11 UTC
Hello.

Please allow separate (from Writer/Impress) autospellcheck setting for Calc.
This is helpfull in situations where spellcheck is required in Writer, but not
in Calc.

Thanks.

Dear developers,
please consider this enhancement. It is important to have because in some
usage scenarios data in spreadsheet is expected to be not spelled correctly
(like client names, product codes, addresses). Enabled autospellcheck not only
fills the screen with distracting red underlines, but also causes problem with
right-clicking the cell (see http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?
id=68715).
At the same time user wants to have automatic spellcheck enabled for texts in
Writer. Thus user is forced to choose between two inconveniences, which is
very bad for product image.
