Description alistair_george 2006-08-05 02:03:12 UTC
Why cant you select an object, right-click and have a dialog 'Properties' which
tells object type (curve 3d etc.) and other relevant object properties.

Also, same object, same dialog, 'save object as....' thus you could have an
object in a drawing and easily save it for future use. Make sense?

As a work around:
You can get information about a file when selecting it and then have a look at
the status bar: size, position and type is listed there.
For future use you can drag objects to your themes in gallery to have them at
hand later. Just open the gallery, setup your own theme, click on the object and
hold the mouse button for two seconds. When then dragging the object into the
gallery theme window drop it there. You can now drag it out into your docs
whenever you want it to.
