Description antoxu 2006-08-10 07:38:46 UTC
In original OpenOffice implementation, all pages in one ppt document will be
loaded at the import stage. Instead, our solution will only load first N (4 as
defined) pages at this stage and mark the rest pages as "unimported". Later,
once upon outline view or slidesorter view is activated, the drawdocshell will
start a periodic timer. For each time the timer is expired, the drawdocshell
will load one “unimported†page sequentially from the beginning until all pages
are imported. When slide view is activated and change to an “unimported†page,
the page will be imported before consequent actions. Base on our solution, the
speed of opening slides can get significant improvement. We are going to work on
CWS Co-Create_AsynLoad to complete whole implementation for this enhancement.
