I found a similar report for an early version of Writer, but did not understand 
solution in relation to this.  Have before and after version of letter 
concerned, but do not know how to insert here.  Will send to admin address.

Letter previews and prints correctly when originated.  Once envelope is 
inserted, righthand end of every line is lost (as though margin now set to size 
of envelope - C5).  However, preview still shows full version of letter to be 
printed.

Please print to file with an postscript driver to compare the result.
If you don't have a ps printer, you can download a generic ps-printer-driver at:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=44&platform=Windows

And, what about when you export the file to pdf and print it over the pdf-reader?

When converted to pdf, prints properly.  However, then noted that Open Office 
text version loss of R/H side, when printed, coincided with R/H address block, 
which is righthand part of a table, which also does not print.
Attached is the ps printed to file version - !!!

Also tried deleting text from envelope page (in trying to remove that page), as 
you will see that has effect of stripping lefthand edge of lines, coinciding 
with heading edge.
