Here is current snapshot of the vba api that lies in the vaults of ooo-build
patch repository, I am really tired of maintaining patches.

It would be fantastic to

1) get this commited into the upstream source
2) of course the api code ( attached in this issue ) is pretty useless without
the necessary stitching in the basic project to expose it ( in a seperate issue )
3) Note: the code is very much work in progress and of course is incomplete (
the vba api is.... vast ) but exposing the code to others and getting feeback on
the missing ( most used ) bits is key

There is a how-to in progress that addresses VBA and OOoBASIC interoperability
so any action with integrating a real translator affects this document.

Agree better that the patch better to include in next OOo, if it did not have
known regression. so user can test it and report new bugs. 
if possible please consider OOo 2.2 or 2.x target. Thanks

Is this patch still valid?
If not: relabel as "Enhancement"
If yes: can we please come to an agreement whether it can be integrated before
we reach its first anniversary?
