Description noel.power 2006-08-23 16:08:18 UTC
This is a hack to the basic runtime that allow syntax like

msgbox [a1:b2].Address

[A1:b2] is a way of specifying a short-cut reference ( it also does other
evaluations but we don't cover those yet )

patch for vbaoption use in parser and sub classes
Comment 3 noel.power 2006-08-23 16:12:33 UTC
ok there are 2 patches here, the first one is to implement the functionality,
the second is to correct an error in the way that vbasupport option is detected
in the parser ( and codegen etc ) its needed for the first patch to work.

Noel, you shouldn't assign patches to yourself. This spoils our initial response
time statistics. :-)
Comment 6 noel.power 2006-12-06 10:08:57 UTC
mm it seems I still had this assigned to me ;-)

Noel, will you integrate this patch or should we close the issue?
Comment 11 noel.power 2007-04-23 14:35:43 UTC
I will integrate this ( but of course there are other patches that are more
important that need to go in first ), putting to 2.x for the moment as it is not
an immediate priority

Ran test documents (eval-shortcutrangeref.xls) on released SLED10 SP1 OOo
2.1.14, Windows OOo 2.1 (Build 2007-06-04) and cws-npower7-m217 and Microsoft
Office 2007. Below are the results returned in the msgbox after pressing the
"click me" button:
• passed, very basic short cut range references work!
‣ RESULT: Test Passed.
