Description rixyf22 2006-08-31 01:31:11 UTC
When saving a presentation with custom animations into PowerPoint format, the
delays are lost. Once the presentation has been closed and opened again, all
delay times go back to 0.0. However, if the presentation is saved in .odp
format, the delay times remain.

I have included a sample presentation which demonstrates this bug. If you open
the .odp file and run it, there is a 2.5 second delay between the face moving
and the callout box moving. Click on "Custom Animation" on the right hand side,
then double click on the "Shape 2" animation, and select the "Timing" tab. In
"Delay", it says "2.5sec".

If you then save the file as PowerPoint format, close it and reopen the .ppt
file, the objects move together. Look at the "Delay" field again and you will
notice that it has reverted to "0.0sec".

set target from 2.x to 3.x according to
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x

This is a significant feature and appears to still be an issue in OOo 3.0.1

Any update on when this might be addressed? It is dificult to create slideshows
of any complexity with this issue.
