The document save does have a hang for a minute or so for any network link like
\\192.168.254.200\anything
when you are not in the same subnet

The editor should reformat such expression as "Standard"

Framework issue.

Confirming with 2.2 on WinXP. Repro steps:
1. Open Writer, type \\192.168.254.200\anything (make sure that 
192.168.254.200 is unreachable).
2. Save the file to local file system - Writer pauses for a minute or so.
