(1) Select an entire column of a spreadsheet.
(2) Press F8 in order to switch to "additional selection mode"
(3) Press RightArrow or LeftArrow
(4) The result is _not_ an extended selection. The result should be two entire
columns selected. Instead, only a range of two single cells is selected.

(1) Select an entire row of a spreadsheet.
(2) Press F8 in order to switch to "additional selection mode"
(3) Press UpArrow or DownArrow
(4) The result is _not_ an extended selection. The result should be two entire
rows selected. Instead, only a range of two single cells is selected.
