Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 70814
Basic IDE allows modifying source although module is read only II
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:27:55 UTC
This is a follow-up task from issue 60874, description copied/modified from there: ======================================================== - add an existing Basic library "as reference" to "My Macros and Dialogs" (Tools / Macros / Organize / OpenOffice.org Basic / Organizer ... / Libraries / Append / Insert as reference (read-only)) I use a library from OOo installation share/basic dir but I suppose this doesn't matter - open this library for editing 1. the save button is enabled; 2. You can't type anything - press the "Save" button in the toolbar - File save dialog comes up, enter name and save - Now you are able to modify, do it - press save button again => crash ======================================================== Depending on how it is defined: If I import library as readonly, should save button be enabled? If yes, then it shouldn't crash after I created the local copy and save again. hint to QA: remeber to check issue 60874, again after fixing.
I've used a m184 to check and imported a Library2 created within an older Office installation. After import a reference the Save button is not enabled -> no save -> no crash -> WORKSFORME
As personaly shown.... start with a new unsaved document
