Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 71583
Missing guidelines in (re)opened Draw document
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:31:23 UTC
Description (tested in OOo2.1_m190 Czech version): Create new Draw document, place some guidelines, save the document. After reopening there are no guidelines.... Place some object to opened document - sometimes (!) the guidelines become visible... After saving and reopening - the same problem. The same bug appears on older documents (with guidelines), created by OOo1.1.5 or OOo2.0.4 and opened in 2.1. If the OOo2.1 is in memory (also only its Quickstarter), the same bug appears also in paralell opened OOo1.1.5... After PC restart and during open in OOo1.1.5 (only 1.1.5 is in memory) - all is OK. It seems me that the bug wasn't in earlier versions of OOo2 (e.g. mentioned 2.0.4). Maybe it is duplicate of issue #62132# (please check it).
Bug appears also in OOo2.1_m193 Czech version (OOo_2.1.0_061112_Win32Intel_install_cs.exe) - verified just now after new installation of this version...
Reproducible. Remarkable behaviour we have got here, indeed. When starting a new draw doc view/guides/display guides is NOT checked. But one can pull them out of the ruler and view/guides/display guides is checked now. MAGIC! Saving a doc and reloading it sets view/guides/display guides to not checked again. This needs some rework, I guess... Worked in OOo1.1.5 last time.
