Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 72351
Integrate the new chart2 context Help building processes - own help module for chart
Last modified: 2007-12-04 08:21:55 UTC
The new chart in CWS chart2mt3 uses the new context "chart2" instead of the old "schart". Thus now no Help text can be displayed for this new module.
Ingrid, please make sure that the context of the hosting application, eg swriter, scalc, is reported to the help and not the "chart2" context. Peter may be of help (adding as cc) Peter, we had a similar issue with the original chart (context "schart"). Since chart (or chart2) is not an application of its own, but rather treated as embedded in hosting applications, its helpcontent is part of the shared set and therefore the help needs to get the hosting application's context when help is called under chart2. Similar to the old schart context. In addition, I will insert a switch parameter in main_transform.xsl and make sure that we have a "main page" for chart2 to fall back to. Uwe, can you please add some introductory sentences and insert corresponding links to shared/05/err_html.xhp and enclose it in a CHART2 switch.
added to cc list to track progress as it affect user level documentation.
It is not possible to have the surrounding application as context. Instead in the current product always the writer context is shown what is wrong. The new solution will be that the context 'schart' is given for the chart. And chart will become a module in the help again.
Fixed. I set this to 'enhancement' as the fix of the original problem now results in an enhancement. There is a problem left with wrong context when switching back from help window to the document containing the chart. That problem is addressed with issue 73426 .
changed the summary to reflect the enhancement (fixed in CWS chart2mst3)
verified in chart2mst3 build 10_2
changed target to 2.3
->Thomas. Charts now have an own help context. Fixed in CWS chart2mst3 Milestone 10_3. Please verify.
