Description jwt 2006-12-09 11:04:25 UTC
I need the facility to be able to edit (including insert and delete) data in a
view that incorporates data from more than one linked table.

I'm affected by this, too. It's still unresolved in OOo3 m9. Is there anything
that can be done to get this moving?

Not to be able to modified any field of a form based on query using relations
between two tables established a major handicap for OOo Base
Comment 7 skiani 2009-06-30 13:17:44 UTC
This is basic functionality that should be part the system if base is going to
compete with Access or any other DB application.
Comment 8 ginny.r.brock 2014-06-30 15:11:52 UTC
I believe this is currently possible as long as primary keys of all queried tables are included in the query.
