Description kpalagin 2006-12-26 10:18:34 UTC
Whenever I try opening
http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/41687/0211WG-
UsingMailMerge.doc Writer hungs with progress bar at approx 75% and no CPU
activity. Last time I have waited for about 50 minutes before killing it with
taskman.

This issue very well might be duplicate of
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=7553 and 28625.

The biggest problem with this is the fact that OO is busy during the wait and
no part of it can be used.
Needless to say that competitor opens the document just fine.
Comment 1 kpalagin 2006-12-26 11:18:21 UTC
This is issue is clearly NOT related to 7553 and 28625 - build 9095 opens the
file just fine (on machine with identically configured networking).
I am changing summary to indicate that this is a regression and increasing
priority.

Also, URL in initial comment is broken, please use url from issue header.

MRU->HBRINKM: this document will cause a loop in the import at about 75 % of the
progress. This worked well in earlier builds like m194.
