I would like to propose to add "on the fly" character and word counter in the
status bar. I know several people who don't use OO.org only because of the lack
of this feature. For example, translators are charging their services per
character/word. It is much easier to follow the number of characters/words typed
if you have it in status bar, instead of going to Tools->Word counter.
