Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 72999
new chart: crash in illumination tab of 3D view in prieview field
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:21:31 UTC
Create a simple pie chart in 3D Look. Open 3D View Dialog, illumination tab. Enable first light. Disable second light. Go back to first light. Click in preview field and drag the light vom right to left. Click immediately again into the preview field to drag the light from downwards. Crash. The attached document is that document which I get after recovery. The IDs of the error reports are rhb43b and rqc43b.
Created attachment 41755 [details] document after recovery
Created attachment 41816 [details] calculation of the angles
Created attachment 41817 [details] description of the calculation
Oops, sent to wrong issue, the last two attachments belong to issue 72994.
@regina: Into the last build (m195) im not able to reproduce it. Please use the last developer snapshot and try to reproduce.
I'm using CWS:chart2mst3 which is build on 680m195 Build 9094. That is the newest version, which is available for the new chart. Have you disabled the second light? It is still reproducible for me.
@Regina: You use the FAT or the patch Version? Which Plattform?
I use the version from http://ooo.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/cws/upload/chart2/mst10/ My system is a WinXP Home SP2. Doesn't tell the error reports why it crashes?
@IHA: Pls have a look. Maybe i73040 deals with the same problem.
I cannot reproduce as described initially but I can reproduce with the attahced crash doc: 1) Open crash document.ods 2) Open 3D View dialog and go to illumination page 3) select first light -> sometimes crashes here 4) otherwise select ok -> now office hangs or crashes
changed target to 2.3
I think this is fixed now as we got the fix for issue 73040 with resync to m202. Not totaly sure as I've had problems to reproduce anyhow.
->Kla: Please verify in Milestone11 for CWS chart2mst3.
No crash reproducable anymore. For me its verified. @regina: pls confirm
I have no crash in Milestone11 chart2mst3 anymore.
Verified fixed in m221
