Calc fails after embeding a PDF document. (Openoffice 2.1)

1. Open Calc
2. Click "Insert" on main menu bar at top.
3. Drop down to the "Object" selection and then click on "Plug in" selection.
4. When dialog box opens click on the "Browse" button under the "file/ULR" edit 
window.
5. Browse to a fair sized PDF file, Adobe 1.4 or higher, and select it.
6. Adobe plugin loads with PDF file being displayed.
7. Click on anything on the Adobe plugin and the application exits completly.

Adobe PDF viewer loaded on system is 7.0.8 running under Windows XP with all 
service pacts and other updates installed. System is a AMD FX-55 with 2GB 
memory installed.

Confirming with OO 2.1 on WinXP - with file big enough (>2.5MB) OO silently 
closes when users clicks on inserted object. With smaller files Calc acts 
funny - it does not crash when clicking, but crashes when procedure is 
repeated (after closing the file).
OO 2.1 on Suse 10.2 does NOT crash, but pdf is not painted correctly.
