Description b.osi.ooo 2007-01-11 16:12:38 UTC
in m199 both wizards don't start
Comment 1 nospam 2007-01-11 16:31:01 UTC
IH: I can not do anything here. Me and Berend think this is a big build problem
in this version. Development (AS und FME) should have a look at this. It works
in m198 and crashes with a typical C++ Runtime Env. Message in m199 on my PC.
You can also have a look into i73269 this is some kind of duplicate to this one
here...

Heiner told me the 'pure virtual funcion call' is fixed;
You maybe installed your m199 too early, it was useable after the announcement
'ready for CWs use'

I didn't try on win32, I verified this on linux and solaris, ther at least it
doesn't work.
Comment 3 nospam 2007-01-11 17:07:18 UTC
IH: In m199 Version4 on Win it works. If it does not work on Solaris or Linux I
can definitely not do anything. I am just resp. for the Basic code and that is
not the problem here. Sorry, I have no idea who can take this one.

bc: I could not reproduce the bug on on any platform (Windows, Linux, Solaris
Intel). We'll discuss tomorrow on how to proceed.
bc->jsK: do you have any OpenOffice basic Libraries available at your office
application at all?
If not your installation must be broken.

Please REOPEN this issue.

I could reproduce this bug every time.
I have an Spanish locale version 680m199 CWS:localisation19.

It seems that somehow, user config of OpenOffice.org Macro Libraries get
scrambled. I will show you a way to how reproduce it, but I don't know if it is
the only way to cause this behaviour. Also, it doesn't happens on Windows, I
have only verified it on Linux.

To verify this, do the next steps:
- Open a new Calc document.
- Show Tools toolbar (View - Toolbars - Tools).
- Clic on the sixth button left to right (Themes selection).
- Themes selection list opens, try different ones, and click cancel.
- Close Calc document without saving.
- Close all OO.org windows.
- Run any OO.org application. Open the macro organizer, you will find that
OO.org Basic Macro Libraries had dissapeared. Thus, all Wizards that depends on
these libraries won't work anymore. Also, you won't be able to open Themes
Selection window again. I don't know why this happens, perhaps Themes depends on
some macro?.

I could attach a diff file with my user configuration before and after this
process, where you will see that library information is deleted.

Best regards,

Santiago Bosio.

Hi Santiago,

please do not use m199 or m200 builds - they are extremely unstable as they are
early builds of the develoment branch.

If possible try to focus on OOFm5 (2.2 that is), we're going to release soon and
can use any help we can get.

Thanks,
Joerg
