There's no way to switch the feedback option within crash reporter XML data to
"true". I've sent a crash report having the checkbox for feedback activated but
XML data always contains "false"

On all unx platforms feedback defaults to false and on wntmsci10.pro it defaults
to true. You cannot switch it

Checked the Linux CWS build...but the behavior just switched from "false" to
"true". If I delete the emal address and switch off the checkbox then it's still
set to "true"

This was my fault as I assumed that the XML data preview is built by the dialog
but this isn't the case for the xml data  - it's built by the crashreporter
itself. I've successfully checked the CWS on Linux.

Will do that on another platform as well
