When the update information file is defect, the update information service
should return. This can be tested with the service
desktop/test/deployment/update/defect/info1.oxt. The respective info1.update.xml
which is hosted on extensions.openoffice.org has no content at all

The extensions info2.oxt and info3.oxt also use a defect update information file
but then the service immediately returns. This should also happen with info1.oxt.

What blocks here is the "open" UCB command, so there is not much I can do on top
of it (beside saving the "getPropertyValues" command in case the UCB returns an
empty stream, which I will do with issue 74041).

Any chance to do something about the initial delay in the webdav ucp ?

Sorry, there is nothing I can do. Seems not to be an OOo problem, but a server
problem. Firefox also needs "ages" to GET
http://extensions.openoffice.org/testarea/desktop/defect/update/info1.update.xml
where GETting
http://extensions.openoffice.org/testarea/desktop/defect/update/info2.update.xml
is much faster. The server simply does not deliver the response data for
info1.update.xml as fast as for info2.update.xml.

Thanks for looking at this. I will update the readme for the test case
accordingly. Therefore I will change the Summary field.
