Ubuntu ver. 6.0.6  java 1.5

On initally opening a base table the left hand slider does not know table size.
One must scroll down through the table manually (with scroll wheel in my case)
for the slider to figure out full size of table. If this is not done you can't
get to the bottom of table using the slider.
