Description christian.guenther 2007-02-21 11:53:26 UTC
- create a presentation with a few slides
- set one slide to hidden (not the first)
- Start from the hidden slide
- the presentation starts from the first slide.
Comment 1 liujiaxiang 2007-03-01 01:50:53 UTC
I think the 3 step should be describe as follows:
Open the Slide Show Settings dialog("Slideshow"->"Slide Show Settings"-
>"Range"->From;)then set slideshow start from the hidden slide.
after this operation, the presentation starts always from the first slide.

Comment 2 liujiaxiang 2007-03-01 01:52:07 UTC
confirm the bug.
Comment 3 christian.guenther 2007-03-01 08:38:19 UTC
in the default installation of OOo in 'Tools / Options / OpenOffice.org Impress
/ General' 'Start presentation / Always with current page' is 'switched on' per
default. Therefore there is no need to define a range. It's enough to hide the
slide and start the presentation from the hidden slide.

Issue type should be Patch.
A patch is existent. It should be evaluated and integrated if good.

Hello cl, the behaviour in that case (hidden page is start point) is also no
specified. I would expect the presentation to start from the slide after the
hidden slide, at least it does not make sense to start from slide 1. This is a
bug for you.
Comment 7 clippka 2007-04-02 14:05:12 UTC
patch looks ok to fix the given issue but as I noted in issue 74718 there may be
problems with jumps to hidden slides later. But that seems to be an unrelated
bug that I have to dig into
Comment 8 Martin Hollmichel 2007-05-09 10:20:28 UTC

Comment 9 clippka 2007-05-10 10:08:18 UTC
this patch does not work with hidden pages, setting issue back to defect
Comment 10 Martin Hollmichel 2007-09-12 12:42:12 UTC

No longer reproducible with 3.4.1 and 4.0-dev.
