Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 75481
"Edit contour" no longer available on OLE objects
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:42:39 UTC
I have been able to reproduce this with the ubuntu build of RC3 and the Windows official build of RC3 2.2 1. Open attached document 2. Try the editing the contour of the diagram. Not possible anymore (I know that it was possible in 2.1). Not using right mouse click -> Wrap > Edit contour (is not there), not via Format > Wrap > Edit contour (greyed out). Expected behaviour: Just like graphic objects, editing contours should also be possible on diagrams. The positioning of diagrams is not perfect in OOo, so manual adjustment of the contours is desirable.
Created attachment 43774 [details] Some objects to test the problem with (originally created with 2.1 stable)
Yes, in OOo2.1 it is possible to edit the contour of chart, which has contour wrap. In OOo2.2rc3 this menu item is disabled. If you uncheck contour und check it again, the whole chart disappears. Might be connected to issue 64562?
just to be clear about it: "uncheck contour und check it again, the whole chart disappears" might indeed be related to issue 64562 ... but that is not what this bugreport is about. Somehow (and I don't know the code), between 2.1 and this version, the contour editing features got a bit messed up, see therefore also issue 75482 which I issued.
MRU->OD: the menu entry "Edit Contour" is not enabled anymore when an OLE object is selected. It looks, that the graphic type of the OLE object's replacement picture could not be recognized correctly.
