Hi,
    We were using solaris 2.5.1, cygnus C++ 98R1, oracle 7.3.4 and xview. The 
application running with this configuration was fine. Now we upgraded to solaris 
2.7, oracle 8.0.6 and using the same complier and xview. 
    The application is running fine but on optimizing the code it works fine for 
some parts of application (GUI) and core dumps for the others. 
    Can you suggest me why this is so as I coult not figure out . 
    Is there any patch availble for xview.

XView, more exactly com::sun::star::awt::XView, is a programming interface, by
itself it has no implementation.  And where is no implementation, no code can't
be mis-optimized.  To come to a conclusion: I have no idea what you are speaking
about.  Please be more concrete.
