Description rbos 2007-03-25 22:28:51 UTC
Table in subdocument pulled in by a master document:

On table with mouse, use context mouse button -> table properties.
Check for example "repeat table header on next page".
This seems to be accepted, but it isn't! As the table is part of a
sub document. Sub documents are most of the times readonly and as such
the table properties can not be changed.

The prove of the pudding is that the text inside the table can not be
changed. At least oowriter tells me via a warning/error that the text is
readonly....

MRU->OS: A table located in protected section should not be able to be edited.
It is possible to change properties in the Table properties and the Number
format dialogs. It should not be possible to open these dialogs in a protected
section.

I attached a file to demonstrate the problem.

By using the navigator also frames can be modified. At this way all content that
is inserted into a protected section (tables, frames, graphics, ...) can be
renamed and deleted.
