Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 76136
can't see your previous note when additing it
Last modified: 2007-04-08 10:50:57 UTC
Hi , I wrote a note in one cell, the problem comes when you try to edit it to add or modify something , all what was previously writen as a note is all black , you can't see anything so its hard to modify the text, you need to guess where the caracteres are. thanks Chris
The behavior that I see regarding this bug is slightly different but certainly related (Windows XP Pro SP2, OOo 2.2). When I insert a note for the first time and start entering text, everything is fine until I press ENTER upon which all the text I entered into the note disappears. However, I can highlight the text (even though I can't see it) and copy/delete/modify it as I please. The note text does show up when I start editing it. As Chris mentioned previously, editing an existing note is problematic, although I don't have the problem with the text turning black, my experience is that the text simply disappears (but, again, is still able to be highlighted). I've even seen a case where creating a brand new note and pressing ENTER multiple times while creating the note makes the text higher up disappear even though text at the bottom of the note is still visible.
