Description thierrym 2007-04-08 12:35:32 UTC
I increment a timefield by step of 5 minutes and when the start value as 55
minutes when I increase by 5 minutes the timefield indicates the same hour (not
increased by 1) and 60 minutes. If I continue, the problem diseappears.
For example, there are the results showed by the timefield after 3 increases :
11:55, 11:60, 12:05, 12:10...
This problem doesn't exist if I decrease : 12:05 then 12:00 then 11:55

Hi,

I can basically only confirm the issue in the way it is reported. I do not know,
if it's a problem of OOo or the macro.

@Skotti: AFAIR, you care about such issues in QA.

Best regards from Beijing
Peter

Confirmed, the time jumps from 11:55 to 11:60 and then to 12:05 - quite obvious.

-> AB with a thumbs up to PJ in Beijing :-)

Set target 2.x, i guess it's too late for 2.3
Comment 9 ab 2007-06-15 13:27:48 UTC
ab->thierrym: I can reproduce this but I have a problem: The sample is far to
complex. You've provided a complete program to show the bug, but now I
cannot see where the problem actually is located. Is it a rounding problem
in Basic or a general problem in the Timefield control? Could you please try
to strip things more down? There must be a special value set to the Timefield
that causes the wrong display string and it would be very helpful to have this
value directly and not indirectly within the scope of a complex macro executing
scenario. Otherwise I would have to analyze and debug the macro before I even
can start to debug anything in OOo to search for the root cause.

STARTED for now
