Description schlossgeist 2007-04-17 20:51:51 UTC
I maintain a homepage with OO-writer.
On the third line I add after each change: <link rel="shortcut icon"
href="favicon.ico"> to provide a favorite-icon in the browser.
After each update with OO this line is lost and i have to add it again with a
simple editor.
The page starts with a table. After each update the phrase:
STYLE="page-break-before: always
is added. So a printout starts always with a empty page - awful!

Is there some help?

Reassigned to ES.

Thank you for your submission!

Concerning the favicon: unfortunately, we have no ressource available to fix or
improve the HTML component, so that we only can fix crashes and huge regressions.

Thank you for your comprehension.

For the problem with the page break: please attach a sample document.
I could not reproduce it with http://www.freunde-schloss-beuggen.de

It's a pitty that there is no capacity for improving the HTML editor, I really
like it.
If you load the index.html from www.freunde-schloss-beuggen.de, save it, open it
with oo, save it again and look at via an editor like kate or change to HTML
source text in oo than you will see that line 3 vanished and line 29 (now line
28) has an unwanted suffix: STYLE="page-break-before: always.

Best wishes - einen schönen Abend und vielen Dank für die schnelle Reaktion

Well, as I said, there is quite no chance that we will fix such an issue.
But, yes, I can't either understand why this page-break is added on save.

@ama: this ennoying page-break won't be seen in OOo. Only when loading the
document in Firefox and doing Print Preview: the print document starts with a
blank page.

Changed summary.
