Description Mechtilde 2007-04-19 11:48:15 UTC
I tested it with m209

I open a sheet
I click rght in one cell and nothing happens

after I move the mouse a little bit the context menu appears.

Sometimes there are missing menu points

I haven't seen this problem in 2.2 and in OOF680_m15
Comment 1 frank 2007-04-23 10:38:45 UTC
Hi,

could nor reproduce, neither with m209 nor with m210. Used an empty sheet and
one with filled cells A1:IV32000.

Therefore closed worksforme.

where can I get m210?

I can only see the context menu when I move the mouse in other time not.
Comment 4 frank 2007-04-23 14:33:58 UTC
Hi Mechtilde,

sorry, but m210 was an internal build, talked to Joost and most propably m211
will be the next developer build on OOo.

I can perfectly reproduce this in an m210 unxlngi6 non-pro build. Right mouse
click in any application doesn't open the context menu, moving the mouse a bit
down opens it. Moving the mouse straight right first or right-click again and
then move down lets appear the single menu entries one by one. Also, in Calc
right-clicking on another cell than the current cell should reposition the cell
cursor, but it doesn't. A second click does.

Hi Philipp, looks like it could be your's..
Comment 7 philipp.lohmann 2007-04-24 10:03:44 UTC
I assume you're using Gnome as desktop and therefore the gtk plugin (at least I
cannot reproduce the described behaviour on KDE using the genric plugin). This
is then duplicate to issue 75469.

I use neither Gnome nor KDE
Comment 10 philipp.lohmann 2007-04-24 10:46:55 UTC
But ?
Comment 11 Mechtilde 2007-04-24 10:52:39 UTC
I use XFCE at this time and other small windows manager on the other maschines
Comment 12 philipp.lohmann 2007-04-24 10:59:49 UTC
Then which vcl plugin are your running ? Does setting the environment variable
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN to "gen" before starting the office change the behaviour ?
Comment 13 Mechtilde 2007-04-24 11:24:05 UTC
I don't understand why

If I start an earlier version of OOo on the same maschine it works.

It works also with version OOF680_m15.

What has changed in the branch to 2.3?

I test it. It works. I don't understand it.

It also changes the font size of the menus.
Comment 14 philipp.lohmann 2007-04-24 11:43:21 UTC
It sounds that using the generic plugin (by setting the mentioned environment
variable) solved the problem ? The problem that was fixed with issue 75469
occured with the gtk plugin only and was introduced on the master after the OOF
(the stable 2.2) was split off, so it happens since 680m206 on the master. The
bug in issue 75469 got introduced in the gtk plugin only with a fix for issue
47175. It will now be fixed again in 680m211 (I hope since the CWS that fixes
issue 75469 should be integrated into that master).

I hope this explains it abit.

Reopen this issue

The fix vcl75 doesn't fix the problem described above.
EIS said vcl75 is integrated in m211. I tested m211 and it's the same as before
