I am facing one problem during using open office 2.2 calc,that is whenever 
there are multiple user within a Lan, users can not share the workbook with 
full access.If one file or sheet is open by any user then the same file or 
sheet becomes readonly for another user who is trying to use it at the same 
time.
In MS Excel there is an option in the menu "TOOLS"-  'share workbook'.Which 
allows multiple users to access the same work sheet at the same time with the 
full authority.
